HPPN had the pleasure to invite Prof. Yiu-Wing Mai for a visit

On 13th December 2023, the HPPN group had the pleasure of hosting Professor Yiu-Wing Mai in our group and enjoyed a coffee break with the group members. He is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and University Chair at the University of Sydney and an internationally recognized pioneer in fracture mechanics and materials science.
During the coffee session, Prof. Mai listened to brief self-introductions of each group member and gave a lot of meaningful advice for each person’s research.
