ScreenDM project, with a focus on near β-Ti alloys, aims to develop a robust Diffusion Multiple (DM) technique for screening of phase transformation kinetics. The DM will enable kinetic and microstructural information to be rapidly extracted and composition kinetics/microstructure libraries to be generated in a combinatorial fashion. The DM will be then tested and developed as an experiment platform of materials parameter input and experimental verification for quantitative Landau/phase field modeling.
