Inside & Outside IMDEA

From hosting visits of high school and university students to participating in the European Researchers Night or the World Economic Forum. At the IMDEA Materials Institute we are fully aware that being able to explain the relevance and nature of the research we do to non-specialised audiences is the best way to create social awareness about the importance of science and technology in our daily life and also to raise the curiosity of the younger generations to pursue a career in materials science and engineering.

Senior researchers, postdocs, PhD students, lab technicians as well as personnel from the project management and technology offices are involved in these actions, ensuring that the experience of working on an institution such as IMDEA Materials is passed on to all kinds of public.
