On 4 November<\/strong>, researchers from BCD<\/strong>\u00a0took part in the IMDEA Materials\u2019 4 Minutes Talk<\/strong><\/a>, an inspiring event where young scientists present their research in just four minutes.<\/p>

We are delighted to share that \u00c1ngela Garc\u00eda de la Camacha D\u00edaz<\/strong>, won the Jury Award<\/strong> with her engaging presentation \u201cWho wants to live forever\u201d<\/strong>, where she explored the development of personalised 3D-printed composite scaffolds for the regeneration of damaged knee tissue<\/strong>. Her talk captivated the audience and judges alike with its balance of innovation, passion, and purpose.<\/p>

Also representing, Luis Calero Lumbreras<\/strong> presented \u201cZinc: The Art of Balance\u201d<\/strong>, highlighting our group\u2019s progress in the design and fabrication of bioabsorbable zinc implants,<\/strong>\u00a0materials engineered to safely degrade inside the body after supporting tissue healing.<\/p>
