Biography

Nabil is a native of Terrassa, Barcelona. He holds a degree in Chemistry (2020) and a Master's in Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (2021) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He started his research career at the Institute of Material Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), where he did his BSc and MSc thesis. In his BSc thesis, he studied the laser-assisted fabrication of electrode materials for supercapacitor applications based on carbon nanomaterials and metal-oxide nanoparticles. In his MSc thesis, he studied the chemical synthesis of metal nanoparticles and their ordered self-assembly for optical devices. Apart from that, he has also worked as a research intern at The Cyprus Institute in Nicosia (Cyprus) where he studied aerosol fabrication of metal nanoparticles by means of the spark ablation method.
