Representing Our Research Group at ICAMES–2025

From January 23 to 24, 2024, members of our research group participated in the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Materials & Energy Storage (ICAMES–2025), held at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Leganés. Group leader Dr. Juan José Vilatela was invited to deliver a talk (Anodes of 100% nanoSi for LIBs: progress in scale-up and integration with liquid and solid electrolytes), sharing insights and recent advancements in the field of advanced materials and energy storage. Additionally, PhD student Elena presented an oral talk highlighting ongoing research efforts within the group (High capacity 100% Si nanowire anode and argyrodite solid electrolyte cells: assembly and structural changes controlling cyclability).

The conference provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and showcase the group’s contributions to cutting-edge developments in materials science.
