The poster entitled “The effect of mechanical strains on the catalytic activity of transition metals for the hydrogen evolution and the oxygen reduction reactions” by Carmen Martínez-Alonso, José Manuel Guevara-Vela and Javier LLorca has been elected by the audience as the best poster presented in the Frontiers Matters section of the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting of the Society of Engineering Science under the title Mechanics Matters.
