Carmen Martínez gave an invited talk at the EuroMech Colloquium on “Modulation of physico-chemical processes by elastic strain engineering” celebrated in Besançon (France), May 22nd-23rd, 2023.

The Colloquium explored -from a multidisciplinary perspective- the potential of elastic strain engineering to tailor material properties (catalytic, corrosion, optical, magnetic, phononic, electronic and optoelectronic, etc.) for different applications.
