Eugenia Nieto defended her PhD thesis entitled “Effect of grain boundaries on the deformation and fracture of metallic polycrystals”” on February 16th at the Polytechnic University of Madrid
The thesis was supervised by Prof. Javier LLorca and obtained the highest grade “Sobresaliente cum laude”. Congratulations to the new doctor from the Bio/Chemo/Mechanics of Materials group.
