The seminar was entitled “Research & Development of biodegradable Mg-based vascular stent”.

Prof. G. Yuan is professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and also belongs to the National Engineering Research Center of Light Alloy Net Forming. Future collaborations between his research group and the Bio/Chemo/Mechanics of Materials group in bioresorbable alloys for medical applications were discussed during his visit.
