Wahaaj Ali defended his PhD thesis entitled “Bioabsorbable composite laminates of PLA reinforced with surface-modified Mg wires for orthopedic implant applications”” on July 24th at the Carlos III University of Madrid
The thesis was supervised by Prof. Javier LLorca and Prof. Carlos González and obtained the highest grade “Sobresaliente cum laude”. Congratulations to the new doctor from the Bio/Chemo/Mechanics of Materials group.
