BIOGRAPHY

S Venkatesh Kumaran is pursuing his Ph.D. in IMDEA Materials working on developing new high entropy alloys for high-temperature applications using spark plasma sintering and additive manufacturing. He earned his Master of Science degree in Materials science and Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA where he worked on developing dual-phase high entropy alloys using arc-melting. He has also worked on Aluminium alloys, Magnesium alloys, and Steels during his time at the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India (NIT Trichy), where he earned his Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
