Mónica Campos
Full Professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering. I am a member of the research group of Powder Technology (GTP-UC3M). Graduated in Physics at UCM in 1995 and Materials Engineering at UPM in 1998, I received the PhD in Industrial Technologies at Univ. Carlos III de Madrid in 2002.
As a researcher, I am currently interested in the in the processing (by PM and AM) and microstructure design of several alloy families specially for high temperature and extreme environments (including superalloys and ODS steels and also on sintered low alloy steels).
In my research activities since 1999, I have directed (and participated in) competitive scientific-technical research projects and R&D&I projects with companies. In addition to publications in international scientific journals (> 80), the results have been presented at international and national scientific conferences (with more than 120 contributions). My experience also includes training young researchers through the direction of doctoral theses (12) and more than 40 academic research papers (Bachelor Thesis and Master Thesis).
Former Deputy Vice-President for University Admission at University Carlos III de Madrid, the present Vice-President for Students and Equality.
