BIOGRAPHY

Xiaomei Yang obtained her Bachelor´s Degree in Polymer Materials Science and Engineering (2011) and completed her Master’s Degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics (2014) at the Wuhan Institute of Technology (WIT, China). In 2018, she accomplished her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering in Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT, China). During the researches, she mainly focused on Bio-based/Bio-degradable polymeric materials, preparation of functional fibres, and Flame retardant modification of multi-functional composites. Nowadays, she is a research associate at the IMDEA Materials institute where she focuses on the development of 3D printed polymer based materials reinforced with nanoparticles.
