Carlos Calvo — IMDEA Materials Research Initiation Scholarships (RIF) 2025: Biomedical Engineering student who completed his RIF internship working on magnesium-based nanoparticles for controlled drug release. Luis Calero Lumbreras — Master’s defence: Successfully defended his Master’s thesis, “Structural analysis of zinc bone scaffolds produced by additive manufacturing with gradient geometry” (co-directed by Dr. Mónica Echeverry Rendón and Dr. Federico Sket).
