DELIGHTED researchers have begun dissemination activities. Dr. Aniruddha Dutta (OCAS), Mohamed Elkot (MPIE) and Giacomo Villa (Polytech Milano) participated in the 5th International High Manganese Steel Conference (HMnS) 2022 organized in Linz, Austria, on May 23-25, 2022.
The HMnS is the only international conference covering all scientific and technical aspects of medium and high Mn steels. The presentation of Dr. Aniruddha Dutta focused on using a high speed camera to study edge cracking during hot rolling of Fe-Mn-Al-C steels.
Giacomo Villa talked about the effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and properties of cold rolled Fe-30Mn-9Al-1C steel while Mohamed Elkot made an online presentation about the alloy design in Fe-Mn-Al-C steels.
