Short biography:

Dr. Rubén Pérez-Mañanes is an orthopedic oncologic surgeon at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, Deputy Director of the Health Research Institute (IiSGM), and Associate Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. He works in the CSUR (Centros, Servicios y Unidades de Referencia) for sarcomas, and is the founder and coordinator of the Advanced Planning and 3D Manufacturing Unit (UPAM3D), a pioneering initiative integrating clinical engineering, advanced planning, and 3D printing into healthcare practice. He also chairs the Clinical 3D Printing and Custom Medical Device committees at the hospital.
