CadenaSER is one of a number of outlets to have highlighted IMDEA Materials Institute spin off Floatech’s plans to to build an “advanced pilot plant” for the manufacture of 100% silicon anodes for lithium batteries.

These anodes will be vital for the next generation of lithium batteries that will power the electric vehicles of the future, a commitment that will make it possible to integrate these elements into the European battery production chain.
