The University of Standford just published its “Ranking of the World Scientists: World´s Top 2% Scientists“. The ranking, which analyses data from Scopus like the number of articles published, the career-long citation impact up until the end of 2019 and the citation impact during the single calendar year 2019, is considered the most prestigious one in this field.
Researchers are ranked in two lists, one gathering data from their whole career and another one accounting for their research results in 2019.
Javier Llorca and María Teresa Pérez Prado appear in both categories and the top 2% scientists list of 2019 also gather other researchers of the IMDEA Materials Institute such as Vinodkumar Etacheri, De-Yi Wang, Carlos González, Javier Segurado and Ilchat Sabirov.
