Yesterday, IMDEA Materials welcomed a visit from 30 students from IES Las Rozas 1.

The students were given a chance to check out the Institute’s facilities, and were guided on their tour by a number of our researchers, including Marcors Rodriguez Sánchez, Alba Pascual and Miguel Hernández del Valle.

The visit included a behind-the-scenes look at some of our work in the fields of additive manufacturing (3D printing), laboratory automation and tomography.

We would like to thank all those researchers and students who took part in the visit, an important element of IMDEA Materials’ mission to inspire and encourage the interest of young talent in the study of careers linked to materials science.
