Our alumni Ismael Gómez has received the extraordinary doctoral award of the course 2020-2021 academic year from the Carlos III University of Madrid for his work entitled “Automated discovery of porous molecular materials facilitated by characterization of molecular porosity”.

The research leading to the thesis was carried out at IMDEA Materials’s Computational and Data-driven Materials Discovery group and supervised by Dr. Maciej Haranczyk.

Ismael is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Capgemini Engineering company.
