Madrid Science and Innovation Week at IMDEA Materials 2021

One more year, IMDEA Materials will be present at the Madrid Science and Innovation Week, which will be held from November 1 to 14, 2021. This year we will make the activities in person!


The activities will have the following subjects (November 4 and 11):
• Trees! An extraordinary source of inspiration for advanced nanomaterials (José Agustín Hobson, Predoctoral Researcher)
• Mechanics of data conduction and multiscale modeling (Laura Cobian, Predoctoral Researcher and Anxin Ma, Postdoctoral Researcher)
• Biomaterials and natural sources (Carolina Pereira, Postdoctoral Researcher and Cristina Pascual, Postdoctoral Researcher)


In this edition of the Science and Innovation Week, the activities that promote the objectives to achieve the European Green Deal will be highlighted with the dual objective of reducing social inequalities and fighting climate change. As well as the proposals aimed at promoting citizen participation in the scientific process. Likewise, the study of the humanities will be reinforced to respond to the challenges of the new society.

The Madrid Science and Innovation Week is an event for scientific dissemination and citizen participation organized by the Madri + d Foundation for Knowledge with the aim of actively involving citizens in science, technology and innovation, with the participation of more than 600 institutions, with the common objective of bringing science and technology closer to citizens.
