ONLINE-RTM is a research collaboration between IMDEA Materials and AIRBUS Operations aiming at analysing sensor information during Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) injection to assess the quality of composite parts. The incorporation of this new technology in the manufacturing process will lead to a reduction of costs because the need for an exahustive non-destructive inspection after manufacturing will be reduced.
