The goals of this project are the following:

  • Development of advanced simulation toold to predict defects/wrinkles produced during the thermoforming process of prepreg composite materials and their effect on the mechanical behaviour.
  • Development of simulation tools to study composite materials processing by means of resin infusion techniques.
  • Development of process control intelligent systems for the manufacture of composite materiales by RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) using advanced digital technologies.
