Abstract:
The particular research interest of the speaker is the design and development of well-defined nanostructured materials and studying their structure-activity relationships for sustainable energy related catalytic transformations. After a brief introduction, the focus of the first part of the
lecture will be advancement of Co, Ni and Fe based electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution halfreaction of alkaline water electrolysis.1, 2 This process has great potential to produce green hydrogen and shape the future energy and industrial landscapes.
3 The second part of the talk will be focussed on the preparation of all-inorganic halide perovskites with controlled-morphologies
and their implementation as functional photocatalysts for prototype reactions like polymerization and selective C-H bond activation.
