Students from Madrid’s IES Lope de Vega visit IMDEA Materials Institute

IMDEA Materials Institute today welcomed a visit from FP students from IES Lope de Vega in Madrid.

Such visits form a crucial part of IMDEA Materials’ mission to spread interest and awareness in science and research among the younger generations.

The students had the opportunity to tour the institute’s facilities and hear from a number of IMDEA Materials researchers first-hand, including Davide Mocerino, José Hobson, Jimena de la Vega, Nabil Abomailek and Juan Pedro Fernández, on their work at the institute, and their experience working in the field of science and research.

IMDEA Materials thanks all those students from IES Lope de Vega for their visit and we look foward to welcoming the school again in the near future.
