The PhD Thesis entitled "Continuum models of the mechanical behavior of rolled and die-cast magnesium alloys", carried out by Dr. Ana María Fernández at IMDEA Materials Institute under the supervision of Drs. Maria Teresa Pérez-Prado and Antoine Jérusalem, has been awarded by the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) as the best Thesis of the academic year 2013-2014. Ana is now working at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland).
