This summer, IMDEA Materials Institute has been excited to welcome nearly a dozen new faces as part of this year’s “Programme Investigo“.

These young researchers will spend the next 12 months at the institute, involved in a wide range of research projects as they discover the possibilities available to them to continue a career in scientific research.

This year’s cohort includes Valeria Lineros, Maria Arroyo, Ana Isabel Pacheco, Lena Przemylska, Daniel Erskine Rodríguez, Álvaro Hernández, Federico Sangineto, Rafael Pérez, Jesús Borreguero, Malena Torrente and Diego Gallego Cusnir.

The Investigo programme is aimed at young people aged 16 to 29 who, based on their academic background, can participate in innovation projects as technologists, researchers, technical staff, and other R&D&I professionals, contributing to the implementation of innovation initiatives and activities within R&D&I departments.
