The main role of the Scientific Council is to provide advice to the Board of Trustees and to the Director in scientific matters. These include -among others- the evaluation of applications for research positions and of the research performance of the Institute personnel, the elaboration and evaluation of the strategic research plan every four years, the acquisition of new research infrastructures, etc. The current members of the Scientific Council of the IMDEA Materials Institute are listed in the Profile Section of the Institute´s Webpage (direct link).
