Her team maintains a shared relocation guide for incoming fellows that covers residency paperwork, neighborhood recommendations, and day-to-day logistics for settling into Madrid.
The city itself is a significant draw. Madrid routinely ranks among the most affordable major capitals in Western Europe, and postdocs on MSCA stipends report a comfortable standard of living. Free evenings often revolve around Liga football, with fellows gathering at local bars to watch matches and scan best bitcoin sportsbooks for the latest odds. Day trips to Toledo and Segovia fill most weekends during the milder months.
